- Mary is a teacher and part-time education instructor at South Dakota State University (SDSU). Doug is a professor of Soil Science at SDSU. They have four children and 4 grandsons. On March 8 we will be going to Daejeon, South Korea for four months. Doug will be teaching soil science at Chungnam National University (CNU) in Daejeon and Mary will be doing volunteer work and collaborating with education staff at CNU.
